The StickBot provides law enforcement officers with an intuitive, easy-to-use and flexible tool to deploy the Stop Stick remotely, allowing officers to maintain a safe distance from the roadway and oncoming vehicles.
The StickBot is controlled remotely using a remote control and can thus position the stop sticks on the roadway within seconds without the officer or his vehicle being in the vicinity of the roadway.
Specs
A: Robust, sealed housing construction using a carbon fiber reinforced PETG (Polyethylenterephthalat-Glykol). Protection class IP65 (dust, rain and water jets).
B: Rough-tread tires with a high profile provide the necessary ground clearance and traction on most surfaces.
C: The steering system enables a tight turning radius for optimum control and positioning of the stop sticks to the target vehicle.
D: LED lights at the front and rear help you find your way around in poor lighting conditions.
E: A safety clutch enables the Stop Sticks to be attached quickly and easily. The breaking load is 42 kg-force-cm² in case something gets tangled.
F: The proprietary “ramp-up high-torque engine tuning” ensures optimum speed acceleration (29 km/h) without the risk of tipping.
G: A 2.4 GHz remote control with a longer range than the realistic line of sight requirements (typically <120 Meter).
